ALDI helps customers to Shop differentli in many ways. From quality testing to seeking out the most in-demand ALDI Finds, the things you want (and the prices you love) are exactly what you’ll be checking-out every time you shop at ALDI.
To launch the new ALDI brand, we created :15 and :06 OLV (in both vertical and 16:9 formats) designed to convey how ALDI delivers high-quality, selection and value to help shoppers save both time and money. For each proof-point the brief asked us to demonstrate, we developed a story that is of course fun as a :15, but used the limitations of :06 to our advantage to let the characters or scene in each shine. (Of course Santa and his elves are in a hurry!) That meant no cut downs.
Fun fact: ALDI loved our holiday spot so much, they decided to also air it on television.

2018 Webby Awards Honoree: Social Video - Food & Drink
Prior to the launch of “Shop Differentli.”, Common Cents was created in support of ALDI’s “Simply Smarter Shopping” campaign.
Targeting busy millennials who care about quality, love cooking and want to maximize their wallet, Common Cents encouraged first-timers to take a trip to ALDI to discover the truth. For maximum appeal, we kept the tone irreverent and the setting referential to classic game-shows.
Created with digital and social in mind, Common Cents elevates the ALDI shopper to hero - the smartest person in the audience, where the better deal is obvious, the obvious is ridiculous, and a little smarts means a lot of savings. These online-only spots are a first for ALDI, as they had historically repurposed television for digital channels.
